Meet Robbie Symonds
Hi, I’m Robbie Symonds, also known as DJ Bov.
I’m a professional party and wedding DJ based in Hereford, with more than 25 years of experience in the nightlife and entertainment industry.
Over the years I’ve DJed for all kinds of crowds, celebrations and venues, giving me the experience to understand what makes a great night.
Today, I specialise primarily in weddings and private functions, helping couples and their guests enjoy unforgettable celebrations with great music and a packed dance floor.

It’s about understanding the room, knowing when to change direction, reading the dance floor and choosing the right music at the right moment.
After more than 25 years working within nightlife and entertainment, I’ve built up the experience needed to cater for a wide variety of music tastes, age groups and events.
From timeless party classics to current favourites, I’ll make sure the music fits your celebration.
Your Wedding. Your Music.
No two weddings are the same, and your entertainment shouldn’t be either.
Before your wedding, we’ll discuss your plans, favourite songs, musical tastes and any tracks that have a special meaning to you.
You can be as involved as you like.
If you already have a long list of songs you want played, that’s absolutely fine. If you’d rather give me a general idea of what you enjoy and leave the rest to me, I can take care of that too.
The aim is simple: to create a celebration that feels like your wedding rather than somebody else’s.
Keeping the Dance Floor Moving
One of the biggest advantages of having an experienced DJ is being able to adapt throughout the night.
Every crowd is different.
A song that works brilliantly at one wedding might not work at another, which is why I constantly read the room and adjust the music based on how your guests respond.
With different generations often sharing the same dance floor, I aim to create a great mix of music that keeps everyone involved.
And yes — guest requests are welcome too.
